We left Streetsboro a bit on the late side this morning, mostly because Pete wanted to join a conference call with one of the groups he's involved in. Today's run was the Ohio Turnpike to Toledo, then north through Ann Arbor and Flint to a lakefront community north of Bay City, MI. We're spending the night at Linwood Beach Marina and Campground, which we're familiar with because of a previous stop here about fifteen years ago. It's right on the shore of Saginaw Bay, which extends from Lake Huron. The photos above are looking east with Jenn and the dogs, and Lake Huron in the background . The other is the southward view of the bay, looking toward Bay City. Tomorrow it's on to "The Soo" and crossing into Canada. Tomorrow night we hope to make Batchawana Bay on the shores of Lake Superior. Tonight's milepost is 1,015.
